Created for beauty magick, embodiment, body reverence, self-seduction, and bodily sovereignty, this ritual is not about changing yourself into a body more deserving of beauty, love, or admiration. It is about recognizing that the body you inhabit is already 

Goddesshood has no required dress size, complexion, age, shape, height, strength, or physical ideal. The Goddess has been imagined and worshipped through countless forms, and no modern beauty standard has the authority to determine which bodies are worthy of sacredness.

Dans Sa Peau does not define the feminine body by softness alone. The body is powerful because of its extraordinary range.

This body may be soft. This body may also go to war. It may give birth, make love, dance, build, carry, protect, endure, create, heal, rest, and rise again. It may nurture one moment and summon every ounce of its strength the next.

Femininity is not diminished by strength, ferocity, muscle, anger, endurance, or the instinct to protect. Nor does strength require the abandonment of softness, sensuality, beauty, or pleasure. The vessel is capable of containing all of these things because the Goddess herself has never existed in only one expression.

If your body is abundant, honor its abundance. If it is slender, honor its lines. If it is muscular, honor its strength. If your skin is brown, adore every brown inch of it. If your vessel carries curves, scars, stretch marks, texture, age, softness, strength, or evidence of the life you have lived, none of it exiles you from beauty, femininity, power, or goddesshood.

The vessel does not have to change before it becomes sacred.

Dans Sa Peau is not about convincing yourself that your body is “good enough.” It is about recognizing something more fundamental: this is the vessel through which you experience and exert your power in this world.

Bathe because your body deserves ceremony. Tend to your skin, hair, and nails because your vessel deserves care. Dress and adorn yourself because beauty and creation bring pleasure. Dance. Stretch. Move your body in ways that remind you of its power. Rest when it calls for restoration. Wear fragrance simply because you enjoy the experience of smelling beautiful.
